The U-Control works with your PC or Mac computer, no setup or drivers required. It has high-resolution 48 kHz A / D and D / A converters for high-end audio quality. with your computer for recording and playback. Thank you.The Behringer U-Control UCA202 USB audio interface is the ultra-flexible USB audio interface that connects your instruments, mixer, etc. Is there any way to remedy this issue, or should I just return the UMC22? Is the interface at fault here, considering my old interface doesn't pick up this USB noise? I'm not sure if the UMC22 is bad, or just more sensitive to the power traffic through PC. So I only hear the noise from the back L and R outputs. I've even unplugged every device except the interface from my motherboard, and the UMC22 still picks up noise.Īlso, interestingly, when I use the 1/4" headphone jack on the front of the UMC22 with my Beyerdynamic DT990s, there is absolutely no noise present, even at max gain. I've tried every USB port, and uninstalling/reinstalling drivers to no avail. So, the problem is only present in the specific scenario where I combo the UMC22 with my desktop. When running my speakers from the MobilePre interface using my desktop, the digital noise in the cone also isn't present. I even tried connecting the laptop to the power strip to charge to see if it would send any noise to the speakers, but it didn't change anything. Nothing about the way my cables are arranged changes, I just swap the USB to my laptop and that's it. However, the odd thing I noticed is that when connecting the UMC22 to my laptop via the USB, the noise disappears. Also tried different power and audio cables which didn't have an effect.

I have tried to troubleshoot using my old audio interface (M-Audio MobilePre), and my laptop. Also, the sound is present only in the cones, not the tweeters. It isn't super loud, but it is quite noticeable from my normal listening position when there's either no or very quiet audio playback. My issue is that I'm getting some very obvious USB interference noise (crackly white noise with digital, saw-wave-esque undertones that are fairly high pitched). I also made sure that my PC (custom built desktop), speakers, and monitor are all connected to the same power strip to avoid ground loop issues. I use XLR to TRS 1/4" connection from each speaker, and run them into the UMC22.

So, I'm in an apartment building (college student) and I run some KRK Rokit 6. Hello all, I come to you looking for some advice concerning a really annoying and persistent issue with my new UMC22 (a few days old).
